Howdy ks diger

Thank you for your reply, it took a lot of work to get my first picture post up in the Finds Treasure Forum. You are the only person to respond to my post on the White's Main Detecting Forum. I sent you a PM yesterday, hope ya got it.

Howdy margiop

Yes they were mixed in with the Wheat Pennys. The IDX PRO gave me a strong penny signal, and I went to work on the hole. The wheats just kept on a comming from the ground. Mixed in with those wheat penneys was about 4 or 5 rusty nails. I was impressed with the performance of the IDX PRO. HH.............Hombre

Great finds Those are square nails when you see them you know the spot is old keep digging. Its there you just got to find them

I agree with ya on the square nails, it's an indication of old buildings or structures of the past. I've dug many coins that had colocated with square nails or other trash. I like the IDX PRO, it has good depth, and does'nt null out in the nail beds that used to be old homestead yards. With the 5.3 concentric coil mounted, it just wades thru the trash. Have a good'n.
