Old home site finds from today...

I took off from work today to search around an old house site and ended up with some goodies and some mystery items.
One photo shows 3 items and I don't have a clue what they could be part of and looking for some help.
The long item that I am holding in one pic and is laying with the other two items in another pic I am not sure, but first thought is some part of a gun maybe.... any ideas?
I don't have any kind of guess about the other two items.
The piece with the hump in the middle is actually two sides of something with a space in between for wood, leather?
I believe the rifle casing is a Spencer but not sure.. can anyone confirm this for me?
Thanks for looking and any help,
Felix

The object in your hand looks like a tang broken off the buttplate of a musket. Keep looking, you may find the other half.

Here are some examples.
