Old HOME 1850

I work as a Medical Equipment Consultant and got a call to talk with this family about equipment. Could not keep my mind off the yard. So after the meeting I asked them if I could poke around on the weekends.

They gave me an open ticket to come around and detect anytime I wanted to. I have not found as much as I had thought but you know how that goes. The yard is huge and just being out there transports me into the 1850. The house is just a few blocks from where I live and I use to take walks and just stare at the lawn and home. There is a creek that runs behind the house and a nice large few acres of grass. I am trying to think what happened during the gold rush days so I will hit it and find out.
