So my dad got an old Garrett master hunter ADS I from his father not to long ago. However i am having issues finding any type of information on it what so ever. or where i can even find parts for it. i do apologize as i am new to the hobby as well only picking up a discovery 1000 a few weeks ago to try my hand with detecting. anyway the Garrett is missing the wrist holder thing (if someone can offer the proper name for it it would be helpful.) he has asked me to find a replacement however i cannot find parts for this thing anywhere any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help you with the missing part but it's worth giving Garrett a call. The might have old parts stashed or know here to find them

The DO have a users manual for that thing .

google this link and you may find a picrure that leads you to a websith that has these things.

If you're talking about that hook handle with the push button switch; that ought to be pretty easy to make if your mechanically inclined. Just a piece of tubing with a bike grip and a cheap switch.

That Master Hunter ADS is a deep machine, even with today's standards. It's a little heavy and uses 9 volts, but in it's day, it was a killer.
