OLD FRENCH COINS + 2 pictures !!

For a question on some forum about Belgian coins I was looking through some of my other coins.

I found these old French ones. Upper 3 : left & right = 1792, middle = 1791.

It reads : "LOUIS XVI ROI DES FRAN

A huge old succulent was recently removed from the yard and this nickel was found about 6" deep where the plant had lived.</table></center>
 
They are "Louis' de ors" from the time after the King was guillotined, and Robespierre ruled France until he was overthrown in 1794. Its from a significant period because this is the time when Napoleon was becoming a presence until he took power in 1796.
 
Isn't this great ? Such history, just here, on my desk ! Guess how many hands held those coins !
