Old Football Field promising some coins...:clapping:

Went to my favorite old school grounds were we had our High School football games back in the 20's-60's. Not much there now...it's used by the Elementary School for practices these days. I've found my share of old coins here over the years and I wanted to see if my newly acquired CTX could get some keepers. Well...it was bitter/sweet to say the least. I got quite a few good signals that were all over 7" deep...but our Texas dry spell kept me from digging over 4". Believe me when I tell you that digging in concrete-like conditions was no fun and I gave up on all of them! Now I'm just waiting for some wetter days to get what I believe is still there...only a lot deeper than the other units I have used in the past 40 years.

It's sweet to get these ID's...but bitter not being able to get to them just yet. I'll post pics when I do bring some of those targets back into the light of day.
