Old Farmhouse

Went to an old farmhouse today after work with the 1350. Had to use the 4.5" coil due to all the trash, still got multiples under the coil. Oldest penny 1970. Screwtops were coming in at penny, and with the 4.5 coil they were sizing as "small". I finaly got tired of digging them and notched them out... no more pennys

It sure can be frustrating when there is so much stuff mixed with the good coins and jeweley.
I'd suggest doing short trips back to the same spot over a long period of time and dig them all.No rush...the stuff will still be there. You may get some nice surprises to.

Cheers!

I agree, this site will wear you out or just plain frustrate you each swing averages no fewer than 6 hits, couldn't even think about using the stock coil...
