The last few days and one of those hunts you hope never ends. Wife works with lady who lives in Old farm house. I found it on an 1866 map. Im not complaining, had a blast, but near as i could tell a lot of drainage work was done. The oldest coins here where almost all found in one half of the front yard, leading me to believe it was the only dirt undisturbed by a bull dozer. The IHs were 1864 and 1886, the V nickle 1902 and in good shape for the vicious soil we have around here. The Barber dime a 1912 S, mercs 1917 and 18, the WBS all 1910-44. Check out the bird under an umbrella high relief button, apparently a common Victorian theme as per the internet, also the token, Worcester Salt Co, out of Rochester NY features a huge good luck swastika on the back, internet samples from 1920. The thing with the hole and the scalloping thing i dont know. The other stuff includes a three chamber ladies compact, a gas fitting, silver plated spoons (again the 20's one from the Syracuse Hotel), two dog tags, a boy scout camperee medallion, four of those modern era presidential historical tokens, some weird and i think collapsed brass slide or part of a belt. Oh lets not forget the Chucko Cheese tokens. Not pictured are several iron horse rings and the clad. I just cant imagine what else the dozers buried or was hauled away. This may end being my best hunt of the entire season thats just begun.I am so happy most of the snow is out of here, Good Hunts All, CO
