It amazes me how a spot that has been hit so hard over the years, still gives up its treasures. I know these are not great finds, But I am very happy with the results running in all-metal and being able to pull up the whispers. I didn't even bother taking pics of all the old rusted deep nails. I found so many deep nails that I could have built an old colonial cabin. The cool thing is that i was able to identify accurately that nails where indeed nails, by listing to the audio characteristics. It is so easy to identify iron with the Sovereign GT. I love how the Sovereign's multiple frequencies "reads" the alloys in metals. Everything has a distinct sound in all metal. I dug the nails to be sure they where nails. OH ,and the finds are an 1860 IH penny, a 194? wheatie, a Buffalo nickle ?, a treble guilt button and another smaller button, a spur, a broken large men's class ring, and severely bent junk ring, a medal with no distinct writing on it, a little gold colored pendant, and a few other odds and ends. I am not one for posting pics of clad and common finds. I just was impressed with the depth found at a worked hard spot.
