Old fairground hunt with Stringfrenzy

Hit an old fairground tonite after work with buddy Josh AKA Stringfrenzy on the forums. I managed some wheats, 1946 silver dime and a 1909 Indian unfortunately there Is no S on it lol, josh got a nice 1893 barber dime.

Congrats on some great finds!!!!

Cool finds. Fairgrounds sure take patience to find the good stuff. I'm headed back to my 1850's fairground once my 8x6 comes in.

This place didnt even seem that trashy besides for pulltabs, I was using my stock coil and the wheats and indians were solid 6 inch dig me type signals, I would think any detector would have picked these up no problem....only signal I think was tricky was the slver dime, it was directly between two pulltabs, I got a lil high tone squeek between two low tones and the screen didnt even show a number except for 12-24 pulltab type signal, it just sounded off as a high tone, when I found the silver dime I was more than surprised to say the least

Excellent finds you got there!! I believe fairgrounds around here still have good potential for nice coins especially in heavy trash.Gonna start hittin em more too! Happy hunting to you!!

Real nice finds !

Nice handful of coins. The e-trac never ceases to amaze me with it's' ability to sniff out coins in close proximity to garbage. Coupled with your detecting skills, it is a productive combination.

Enjoy your posts.

Great finds! Fairgrounds are fun to hunt and also very challenging most of the time due to abundance of conductive trash.
