Old Fair Grounds 2nd Hunt

Well the first Hunt did not go to well. I only found one 1935D Wheat. Had Detector problems and took a while to get it worked out. A call to Whites found my problem. My problem was too much coil trading. I got one that was not in tune with my Detector. A coil trade at home got me going again.

I did not have the ideal coil but I made another hunt.

1-1928 Mercury Dime

1- 1934 Buffalo Nickle

3 Wheats 1-1915 1-1929 1-????

Pretty toasted coins. Silver comes out shiney where I live. Still, nice to find older stuff. Hope you find a bunch more.

Actuall they are in pretty good shape. It was just real wet and I did not want to rub them much

Is this the old fairground that they put the red clay gravel on top? That could account for the staining.

Not sure.
