Old Explorer 1000 coil 10"

Do these old Explorer coils work on the E-Trac and are they as good as the newer coils? Found it today going thru my metal detecting stuff can't remember how I got it. did have an Explorer 2 back in the day for a short time.
 
It’ll work just fine Robert. I like that coil,it’s smooth and accurate. I think some of the newer types are lighter,like the Pro coil and Sunray X-12...but not sure. If you’re asking...will it work?...yes it will.
