Old cotton gin located in Bracken, Texas...............

Kelley (Texas)

On occasion I shop at a feed store in Bracken and finally took a picture of this old cotton gin. There are too many tall weeds, probably a snake or two too, to metal detect. I would not be a bit surprised to find out there are some old tools or other relics inside that old building. Picture not the greatest, was taken on a wet, overcast day. Kelley (Texas) :)

Snakes wouldn,'t stop me from hunting that place.........

If I had the landowner's permission, I'd be huntin' it like a fox lookin' for a meal under 10" of snow. Imagine all the old coins that fell out of the cotton farmer's pocket as they stood around shootin' the breeze while the cotton trailer was being unloaded. Heck, wouldn't even have to worry about diggin' any clad junk. As for snakes...just tape a 'bite kit' to the shaft of the MD so it'll be handy.

Seriously, would expect some oldies but goodies to be around that place. Get :detecting:.
