Old Coins * Relics * Civil War Store Card

Still putting in a lot of hours at work but I was still able to get out on some hunts over the last month.
These finds are were made at a few different 1800's cellar holes, old abandoned houses and along a few sections of old sidewalks.

Thought the 1863 Civil War Store Card was a Indian Cent, till I washed the dirt off ... a nice surprise !

The 1912 S Liberty V - Nickel is a semi - key date.

Got a Wheat Cent hit approx. 5" down in the yard of one of the abandoned houses - pinpointed the coin - a Buffalo Nickel ... what the hecks going on here ?
Turned out to be a pocket spill of six coins - five Wheat's and the 1938 Buffalo Nickel were all in the same hole.

The Wheat Cents are dated from 1909 to 1952 - no "VBD" or "S" on the 1909.

The 1800's Military Belt Buckle is only one half of the buckle - went back to the site and tried to find the other half ... no such luck.
I can't find any photo's on the internet that match this buckle - I think it's British and was used in the mid 1800's.
Can anyone tell me who used this Crown & Rope design - from what country - from what time period ?

Good Hunting !

Here's some photo's from the internet of the same 1863 Civil War Store Card that I found.
I can read a good 90% of the writing on mine.

Those are some awesome looking finds! Congratulations on your semi-key V and the civil war card. Heck, even your relics look great! Thanks for the pictures. That belt buckle is fantastic!

WOW!!! No one as responded to this thread.
Awesome saves and congrats. Love the CW store card token.
Any info on the buckle ? I would bet military maybe early militia?

Looks like the Buckle is from the "South Staffordshire Regiment" in England - from the 1870's up till as late as the 1920's.

Great finds but that belt buckle is a real eye opener! Looks like its made out of brass.
Been only out relic hunting lately and that would be a find of a life time, at least for me.
I sometimes think finding historic items like that are better than finding 200 year old coins.

It definitely has a British flavor to it.
Sure looks like it could be from the Revolutionary War period?
Possibly a war souvineer passed down that ended up in Ohio?

If it was only from the 1870s, thats close enough to the Civil War period.
Maybe a British military advisor/observer during that War?
or
just a later ex-military British immigrant to the U.S. if those dates are accurate?
