Hello all, these clay pipes, doll parts, tea set parts and ceramic pot lids were found while digging for old bottles. the old locks I found metal detecting. As you can see, I mounted them onto painted canvas. Thought you might like to see them! Thanks for looking.

Wow! nice little collection you got there. You got more than me.I found a few ceramic doll parts and clay pipes but never any whole ones. I use to look at privy web sites and they dig alot...so if they have old abanded privy's there dig one and you will have more I bet...Privy digging is tough job and could be dangerous just be careful if you try it. Keep thoughs pics coming...and thank you for sharing!! COOL

If there's anything I don't like about digging down into holes, are the Alpine Wolf Spiders that like to roll out of the dirt onto my boots. Fortunately, they don't move around much, so I just flick them out of the hole with my shovel!

[attachment 54391 abigpipe.JPG]Nice pic of pipes there!!This pic is the biggest pipe i found . The size is huge compared to a normal size pipe in the pic!!

Wow, now that's a big pipe! I haven't seen one like it here. I'd be interested in seeing some of your bottles, they look interesting from the bit I do see in your photo. I'm interested in the type of bottles found overseas, that date mid to late 1800's, as some of our bottles, particularly the medicinal types, comes from over there.
Thanks for sharing!
