Old Church Grounds hunt today!

duggr

New member
It seems like I'm always going back to the church grounds to hunt..Sometimes I might find a single
penny or nickel but today it was a lonely Barber dime....I just crossed the fence walked about twenty
feet and turned on the etrac and less than a minute later got the signal....Talk about luck! I even
got it on video so check it out...In the Video I talk about not getting to excited about the signal because
I have dug multiple aluminum pieces that gave the same type of readings..Hunted another 2 hours or so afterwards
and found nothing worth mentioning.

Great job! Look great shape and brand new = dropped it in 1914!

They had Homecomings every other year for two weeks at the church grounds,,The first was in 1907 then
so on...09,11,13,15, up till 1925....Could have been dropped in 1914 but i'm guessing around 1915...All
depends when the coin left the bank and started circulating among the people.
I usually stayed away from the area that the barber was found as there is so much trash in that area that
was put there after the church was abandoned around 1925

that one's a real sweetie....!!!!!!
