Old Chinese Camp Gold Rush Days

This camp had about 1000 Chinese living on the land back during the Gold Rush days. The owner
(that I know) let us hunt for two days. Crosby and I had a real hard time with the LTD and the 11 coil, so we switched to the 5" DD. Almost every hole had square nails in the hole but the 5" was the only way to really lock in on the targets. Had a ball and found some history we both did about 500 leg bends to dig our targets. The 5 inch saved our hunt.
 
These are some cool buckles the second one I have never seen before.
 
That is a opium pipe the chinese loved that drug..
 
That militia belt plate is awesome!! are you in California? if so, that would be a good place to find a California belt plate.
 
looks like someone has been there b/f and lost their pot pipe...or is that urs?...lol

j/k...awesome collection of finds. i would be trying to get back there.
