Old Cast Aluminum Toy Gun and Sterling Ring

I finally got out for a few hunts in between all of our flood cleanup work and made some old finds. Coils used were the NEL Tornado and NEL Storm.
All finds were made at public city parks and schools.

Old toy gun is a Cast Aluminum "BELCO" and dates from the 1930s. It read like a deep wheat penny.
The small sterling ring looks to have a birth stone in it. It read like an Indian penny and was over half a foot deep.

Silver dimes are 1911,1923,1941,1946
Nickels are 1902,1916s,1938,1942, 1943 (silver war nickel),1943(silver war nickel)
Indian Pennies are 1891,1901
25 Wheat pennies are back to 1918.
Canadian large cents are 1917,1920 (last year large cent) . Canadian small cent (1st year small cent) is 1921.

Other finds are an old knife, old bracelet, a religious pendant still attached to the necklace and various buttons
I also nabbed what looks to be an old musket ball..

Nice finds Dave

Thanks Chris. We are closer to the Cheyenne river and that was higher than the red
because of all the snow and overland flooding.
#4 highest crest all time.

Dave,

How bad was the Red River. Didn't hear too much on the news.

Nice finds, hope to see you guys this summer.

Chris

Great haul Dave. Really like those Canadian large cents and that's a very nice silver ring as well. Glad to see you got out and had some good hunts. ATB Greg

Thanks Greg. Yes, those Canadian large cents are nice to find. One came south of me and one came north.
I really enjoy the quality videos you are putting out and the way you research all the items you find.
That is a big part of the fun for me also.

Thanks Dave! I try and make them a little better each time. I really enjoy finding something I can do a history segment on. I'm with you, finding the item is just the beginning of the fun. It seems like everyone has been enjoying the history segments in the videos. I'm glad for that as that was a big reason I wanted to start a YouTube channel in the first place. I wanted to promote a dig it all style of detecting, show people what they may have been missing by passing over the low and mid tones and also encourage everyone to learn the stories their finds have to tell. Thanks as always for your support of my channel Dave! Hopefully, one day we'll get a chance to get together and do some detecting. ATB Greg
