Old Camp Sight

Low-Boy/LCPM

On New Years Day we went back to the old camp for one more hunt. We knew we could not have found everything but it had rained for a few days and in my part of Cailf when it rains the ground gets really bad with all the minerals and iron in the Gold Country.

I only found coins all being silver and the oldest dating back to 1838. So we think that there are more critters hidden by the iron. The F75 and small coil really helped me in tight places and everything I found was with the small coil.

LowBoy, how deep are you finding those old coins down there with the small coil on the F75. Just curious

The small coil is deep I have dug coins down to almost 8 inches but on this hunt the cons were only a couple of inches if that.

Nice silver there !!

My C$ came today, and I'm planning to head up to the Angels Camp area Sunday to start learning the C$.
