Diane and I took advantage of nice day to get out to the field where I found the Colt Trigger Guard to see if we could find some more parts to the revolver. We did not have luck there but we did get a few things mostly bits of brass and things like that Diane found the handle piece of what I believe is a straight razor. We moved to an adjacent field where again I was detecting and not finding much! As we were getting ready to leave Diane got a scratchy coin signal and dug her first ever Fatty Indian an 1863. She was very happy with that bucket lister....funny she previously dug two Flying Eagles before...but the lack of the Fatty Indian was bugging her! We then moved on to another field where at last I made a couple of finds a cuff sized flat button and a late 1700's Flower button with an unusual shank where it appears the wire part is a separate piece from the attachment piece.
