Can anyone identify this button. Found with the Indian head penny. No mark on the back as far as I can tell. found on old 1800's farm site in Michigan.
 
Unless there's a letter on the shield on the eagle's breast-- can't see any in the photo-- it's a mid to late 1800's U.S. Army general service cuff button.

Probably a union civil war soldiers button since the penny is dated 1864.
