Someone told me that maybe this is from the Civil War era. I am in Washington
State. We don't have that kind of history here. Anyways hoping someone might know.

My opinion is that it is a modern reproduction of a Civil War era three ringer, it lacks the patina of old lead. You can go to the Civil War forum to see what old CW bullets look like.
