I was wondering if there is anyone from the old BH forum (2001-2003 timeframe) around on here? I used to post on it regularly with the screen name Dig-on
as always HH

I guess there are none of those people around anymore. :)

I use to frequent the old Bounty Hunter forum. I used the same name as I use here.
I sure do miss reading Pineapple's stories.

I miss those stories as well, and his info he shared. Do you know what happened to him?

I don't know what happened to him. There is at least one other person here on Findmall that use to be on the old BH forum. I'm not sure what happened to the rest of them. They are probably hanging around here somewhere. It's nice to hear from somebody from back then.

Howdy. I don't post much but visit these forums bout every day. I think i still used Tbird on the old forum, can't remember now. I still remember Pineapple and his trusty Time Ranger machine, good stories. I think i remember another member by the name of Barbwire, he recommended the Landstar to me which proved to be a very good choice. Big John, another maybe, There are more i am sure just can't remember at the moment.

Happy hunting to all,

Tim

it is good to hear from a few of you. Too bad that the others have faded away. It was a nice small knit forum back then. I used to live in Tacoma WA back then, but now I am back in Maine.
HH all and dig on

I was a member of the old BH forum. Joined in November of 2003 I think. Some the old members faded away. Sometime around, what 2005/2006? one of the new members created his own board and recruited everyone to come over there. Its call metal detecterist paradise. Some are still posting over there. Sometimes I hear from some the old members, like John in New Zealand. Elvis, and the like. Pineapple changed his priorities after one of his grandchildren died and quit posting on the boards.

Hope that helps.
Mike

I posted on all three BH forums, Silver Mike's, Lucky Dan's and Eastern Design, occasionally but wasn't a regular. Some of them are in the Wayback Archives and can be accessed via links at http://web.archive.org/web/20000510042940/http://www.detecting.com/ and at least some older manuals for Bounty Hunters and Teknetics are also in the Wayback Archives. The manuals are down toward the bottom of the page at http://web.archive.org/web/20000816192921/http://www.detecting.com/page18.htm#Older

When Radio Shack stopped selling detectors at smaller stores and had the closeout sales I bought three 3300's for a total $392 in about a four weak period. I used the first one I bought quite a bit before trading it for a Golden

Me thinks this be the "apple" your looking for
