Old beach gives up some old gold...

I love this beach! It just keeps on giving up old rings! I only hit it a couple times a year and know several others hunt it as well but.. It still produces. There is a clay layer under the sand that traps the good stuff and it takes the wind changes from the different seasons to move some of that sand and allow the good stuff to come in range on occasion. Don't ask where!

... Well you know how the saying goes.

One local club member found one and hunted the last several years and his gold ring count is nearing a hundred..Got so bad for him he used to have to check to see if he was followed when enroute to hunt. Believe me they are out there and research and perhaps a little luck just might be one a couple of miles from your home. Remember years ago transportaton was a problem so many walked so keep looking...I have found a couple of lakes where people fished for 100 years or so and found some nice silver but the hunting is tough as these sites are now woods and almost like deer or turkey hunting and roots can be a problem...We all think about new super duper machines, depth and the like but research is where its at..
