Old Beach Dig Brings Silver In The Scoop

Sterling silver ring, conflation lists the 71-76 Ike dollar as 40% silver, nice old key, spoon marked nickel silver, my oldest Canadian penny to date-1921, Les Davis 1/4 Oz "Hot Rod" lure, a few marbles for the growing collection, 2 1944 wheat backs, and my first Merry Widow tin. Dug these out of the lake with my Fisher 1280x Aquanaut. There's so much iron in the lake it's hard to get into the zone and listen for smooth repeatable signals that don't sound like a boat anchor. Running 2 on discrimination ,8 on sensitivity, 2 on volume. I would like to upgrade to a more sophisticated machine. CZ 21 maybe? I have a like new in the box DFX with goodies I'd trade if anyone's interested? Some people like going to the gym, I go detecting. Go get you some!

Amen to that, ... No place like being out in the open, fresh air swinging away...
