Old Barn on a back road in South Texas............

This old barn is located in Bexar County, Texas and is 150 years old. You can see the old cedar shingles under the metal roof when entering the barn. Kelley (Texas) :)

Fred, when checking out these old barns, you should be looking for old License Plates... Specially from the teens.. If I remember correctly, Texas started issuing License plates in 1918. They can be of value depending on year, and number of digits. Down your area, the Plates may not have much paint left on them, but the plate is still solid. Rust isn't so much an issue.

However, I really never gave much thought to them being worth very much because most of them are in poor condition being all rusty with no paint left on them. I do know that some are worth lots of money, but I don't know which ones that might be. Now you have me curious and I will start paying more attention to them. Kelley (Texas) :)
