Old barn built 1795 but roof collapsed a few years ago due to heavy snow

It's a shame it lasted all these years. I went by and took a couple of quick shots around the time it happened. A couple of those items look like coffins to me, and maybe some sort of coffee grinder?

I wonder why the coffin type boxes look as though they're sealed shut. Hmm. Love the old building. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Reminds me of an old church that was built back in the early 1800s and then moved next to my parents home. It's fallen as that barn now and it was beautiful in it's day.

As for the wood, that goes for a pretty penny around here too.

No it's still there but some seems to be gone....maybe the guy is selling off the wood slowly. He owns a small antique shop right next door to it and lives across the street. It's on the way to work only a few miles away but since I don't go that way hardly ever, not sure what's going on there. I'll have to check it out.

You mean you didn't go up and see? Somehow I don't think anyone would be in there. It's just strange that they're sealed shut that way. Things that make you go hmmm.
