Boy did get a surprize today!I used a old set of headphones that are normally on my whites detector, and they were very loud! The headphone are Nippon America nothing great, but I was getting about an extra 3-4 inches more in depth! The Bandido II maybe old but with these headphones they were more than equal to my whites Idx pro.I was detecting at the local park and highschool. My take was 1 quarter,1 dime,5 nickles,20 pennies, and several pieces of jewelry.I was having to turn-up my discrimination because I was picking-up alot signals with stuff close by.Do any of you have any similar results?Brian.

Headphones wont add depth to your machine, they simply allow you to hear the weak signals better. I am a firm believer in high-quality headphones. The ones you used may be of greater quality than the ones you used to use, allowing you to hear those fainter, deeper signals.
