old ball field finds

[/img] Have not been out in a while but got out thursday lot's of deer hunting and cleaning meat. Old ball field that i hit many times before took the 6 inch coil out lot's of junk but the 6 handle it just fine The coins were 8 inches plus accept for the nickles they came in at 5 inches the ring is a sterling very thin not broke came in at 12.02 wow that's low for sterling anybody else dig a very low sterling ring the stones that were in it fell out along time ago.Times running out ground is starting to get hard

Nice hunt. I have the 6 inch coil on my wish list. I need to sell some detectors first. If you are hitting coins at 8 inches that is even better than I thought. 12/02 does not sound sterling to me. Are you sure it is not 950?

Says sterling on the ring.8 inches the signal is very good also found some silver dimes and penny's at 9 inches and my ground is pretty hot my mxt comes in on ground phase at 72 to 86 .

Nice finds! Did you hit the field with the 11-inch coil before breaking out the 6-incher?

Ironman no 6 inch first then the deep stuff with the 11 won't have to look at anything sallow.
