I couldn't help but comment on some of what was posted there. I've read a few comments about finding bottlecap, nails, etc., just about every good feature someone tries to bash. It's possible they didn't watch the videos and maybe even they have some kind of learning disability (we all do to some extent when we think we know more than the designer) but more likely they work for another metal detector company and are imposters. Don't discount this. There are some unscrupulous people out there and the internet is an easy place to hide their true identity and post very deceptive non-truths--read "bashing". Some day there will be a law against it. For now I am a firm believer in Karma.

I'm not trying to pick on other detectors but when someone posts that their machine is better, then I think it is okay to voice my experience. I've worked a very trashy area with a guy who was using a ML x-705. He got disgusted, even made a post about how he was not happy with the way it performed. I didn't complain (AT Gold). The Hi-Resolution Iron Discrimination really worked well and the target seperation is superb.
 
I could not agree with you more mikelab and its good to see other people like yourself who SEE the bigger picture. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed the vids.............till next we talk have a good one.

I agree, I still remember someone who claimed to have dug 297 bottle caps, If you can't tell the diff. after that many you need to get a new hobby!
But I actually met a guy on the Beach who had owned the Pro for a year & he said a bottle cap sounded like a quarter, I asked what mode he was using? Standard, go figure, I encouraged him to use Pro Mode it would increase his finds, he left. This weekend I dug a old green Quarter at about 15" in the dry sand in Pro Mode. the rest of the beach was clean.

Oh boy had a good chuckle about that one mate...........yea well I'm baffled how he lasted a year diggin up all the bottle caps but hey look at the bright side it was a very CLEAN year for him. Good on him for helping out our Mother Earth.
