Old ABS/Eagle button

Hello- I found this old brass button with ABS circled around an Eagle while detecting in my backyard and I'm trying to get a positive ID on it. I have already done quite a bit of research on the Internet and I have found only two other buttons that are like it. I have read where it's possibly from an American Boy Scouts uniform from 1910-1920 (not affiliated w/ Boy Scouts Of America) or from an American Bible Society uniform during the Civil War era. I tend to believe that it's an American Boy Scouts button, because it just makes more sense. Besides I found an old 1920 dog tax tag from around the same time frame just 15 feet away from where I found this button. Either way, it was another neat find that I felt was kinda rare. Any help with this will be much appreciated.

HH!

The eagle design mimics the Great Seal of the USA created in 1902, so the American Boy Scouts looks promising.
