Went detecting in Japan last week. Don't even think of going to Enoshima beach. Picture a garbage landfill covered with black sand. A target every 10 inches and it's all junk. Went further south to Osaka. Was hitting the wet sand seeing if my PI could find anything my Excal had missed in the fall. It did, and it was all "iron". Not gonna tote that anymore. Anyway ran into a Canadian dude wearing a dry suit, using an excal, and a stavr scoop that I was really impressed with. Told him about a guy in Maryland that had fixed my excal earlier. He said "you mean Ol Beechnut, he fixed my headphones". 8000 miles away from home and I meet someone who knows someone I know. Small world after all.
