Farm feilds are going to be clear and ready to hunt soon. I want a big coil for my MXT and I'm looking at the Butterfly coils, so do I get the 10x12 or the 15x12.

coins, buttons, bullets, etc., then I'd go with a White's 12" concentric coil, or if you want a Double-D (wide-scan) coil consider White's 10" D2, or an Excelerator 10" DD or the 10X12 SEF. For ME, and MY type of hunting, I have found the coils larger than these will not get the depth on smaller targets. Fine for caches, cannon balls, and the like.

Just my opinions, of course.

Thank you Monte, we have very mild soil here. How is the 12"concentric to the 10x12 SEF? Is there much difference?
