Ok you Mod pros....Excalibur headset fix

Hey peeps! I was wondering if any of you have modded your Minelab Excalibur headsets....specifically modding out the plastic headset brace for a wire aviator style brace? I am thinking of taking mine apart and pirating the wire braces off a pair of shooting ear protection muffs.

I just cant get my phones to fit very well anymore and part of the reason is that stupid brace.If you have or have some ideas...I would love to hear or see (pictures welcome) them.

Here's a set that Mr. Goldmaster made. He's drilled and used a stainless screw to secure the new Peltor arch. I despise that stock clip too--if you plan to settle for it be sure to use some zip ties to fix it in place--they will stay on better that way.

Been thinking about these, Gutting them and putting them in some peltors, but I like that padding of your (HL's) better then the peltors

But sofar I have came up with this for the new headsǝt, peltors, piezo transducers 35mm, gel pads, and bulgins wp connectors....and what seems to work for only me, doc's amp (every hunter I run into this year on the beach I'm going to video a depth compare test to make sure I'm not deaf)

I put a set of grey ghost on my excal and they stay on and are very comfortable. if you want to see them i can bring them to the Thursday eve mtg.later Mike

How did you make this mod? The wires are soldered and glued.
