OK, while I am on a roll here; what about thin yet protective gloves for the cold?

OK, while I am on a roll here; what about thin yet protective gloves for the cold?

I am not 19 anymore and tend to lose circulation/feeling in the cold weather these days.
My gloves that I use pretty much prevent me from picking up a coin or thumbing the adjustment knobs on my Tesoro.

The thinner gloves do not keep the wind/rain/cold off my hands and make detecting more miserable than it has to be in the cold weather.
The nice insulated/wind proof/waterproof gloves that I have also tried out seem to shut out all feeling or ability to function as a dirt fisherman.
I have another pair which is neoprene, but it seems that they compressed my hand too much last time out and caused a tendon to bruise, at least that is what it felt like.

Any sage advice?

TOO MUCH DIRT, NOT ENUFF TIME!

I have been using gloves made for another stick in hand sport-----GOLF.

They are very thin, soft , skin hugging gloves. Some are vented which is great for summer hunting.

So you want to know where you can get them cheap, free?
Garage sales.............only problem you will find only right handed or left handed gloves. Golfers only wear one glove.

You can always go to any store Walmart, Golf stores and buy a glove for both hands.

Another thought take a look at batter's gloves for baseball.

Take a look at mechanic's gloves. I'm not to sure on warmth but they will surely protect you from the wet cold ground. Some of the major glove maker's make them like Wells Lamont and the quality seems good.
Good hunting Gary

Thanks Sven,

I never even though of that, although while out hunting parking strips in the cold morning hours on Saturday I did see a very thin ladies leather glove lying there.
And I thought, that's the ticket.

LOL.......yeah but, they won't fit you. Ladies hands are built different from guys...ever watch Jerry Seinfeld--his date with the man hands
