ok.......which one is best for salt water detecting???

I currently use a White's MXT and have moved to Cape Cod mass recently. I have luck with it but of course cannot go into the water too deep with it. I have read just about every manufacturers water detector model and simply put I do not know which one to consider buying. I am thinking of trading in the MXT to purchase a water detector so it would be best to get a detector for sea and land. I really would appreciate anyones help on this , every manufacturer of course states theirs as the best so by getting opinions of hands on people on here I will be able to make a better decision.

Slapshot I live on cape also I have a Fisher 1280X (10 1/2" coil). It works very well in the fresh water ponds,in deeper saltwater, Dry sand, & dry land (though on dry land it can be very difficult to pionpoint in trashy areas as it picks up every thing). In wet salt sand & at the surf line it is very noisy you can pick out a good target but your head starts ringing after a while. If I had the dough I would definitely buy a different machine for salt use probably something from minelab. Mr. Bill a local dealer should be able to turn you on to what works best in our area.
