I threw some clad in the tumbler along with a small piece of rock that read in the silver range.
I made sure there were no pennies, BUT THE CLAD CAME OUT PINK. I double checked when I
took the clad out. No pennies. And the rock which was white, turned black. A magnet does not effect it.
I thought it might be a piece of meteorite because it feels heavy. I started scratching some of the black
off and it looks silver inside. I think the vinegar and the soap had a chemical reaction to the rock.
Any ideas. This happen to anyone else?
I fan the clad back through the tumbler for three hours with vinegar but no soap as the soap is what builds up
the pressure inside. The pink is gone.
