Heard so much about the one or two tone option so gave both a try. Like single tone best and it hits hard. The heart shaped ring is 10k and hit as 8 ID. The other is 14k and skipped like 3 coins on edge at 10 ID.
 
Awesome finds on the gold! I so miss the mx5 detector.

Playground. The rock filled playground seemed like it had some mineralization issues as the auto g/b was spitting out some iron "tics" and I had to slow the sweeps. I think that accounted for the 14k ring skipping repeatedly- but it was laying flat so the ring's open spaces could have done the same. When using my Compadre here I also had to slow down. Hot pebbles, maybe.

Sounds like the M6 is pretty tough, too. Looking at your array of detectors, I can't imagine them missing that wheatie.

gunna shove the little 6" Detech coil on and take it for a spin.

been awhile sense I found 2 bits of gold in one hunt, well done and my hope is getting a little higher for this detector.

Love the MX5, so much in fact I sold my Xterra 705 so I could get the MX Sport and keep the MX5. Nothing against the Xterra, it hung with the MX5, but with the supend mode and turn on and go the MX5 won out. I don't get to gold country very often any way. Found a 1.5 gram 10k ring with openings and it came in at 6-8 id. Have to check those low numbers, ofcourse going to dig a lot of foil.
