But I dug all the nails from Mellon field and they were all rosehead nails(Ray and Brandy went there)
but its a small sample here of the iron and odds and ends ya can dig most anyplace you try too depending on age :D of the site

sites to not dig most if the site and time allows ya too :)

<center>Fake 1789 8reale from 1700's mill site, you can see they went to cut it and it more or less shattered and was not silver as they thought :(
[attachment 71511 17898real.JPG]
Here is a Double struck Connecticut copper from the 1700's era found in a field of old homesite
[attachment 71513 conncopper.jpg]
And if the finds are there you can find em no matter what brand ya use
BUT there are times ya cant dig everything on certain areas so a better unit is yer safest investment :D
But in the woods with permission you can dig it all and even a low end unit will have its day in the spotlite
Here is a Mexican silver and 1/2 real 1700's from a cellar hole site
[attachment 71515 storypic_brianny2.jpg]
Yes the site burned and they are toasty but hey :wiggle: take em anyways :D
