it is marked 14 k and appears to be gold.....GUESS WHAT....ITS NOT. had me fooled to. just another fake stamped by crooks to make another dollar. so moral of story.....not all that glitters ( or is stamped ) is gold. who knew :shrug:
 
Sorry to hear that. But it happens probably to all of us. :lmfao: That nice cross and chain I found turned out to be brass. It was marked 14K. Like your husbands, still a good find, just not as exciding.....Z
