Went out today with the wife and she outdid me with a 925 ring but i beat her in the coin dept.lol I was running sens at 4 and thresh at -40 disk 99 and foil and tab notched out doing some clad sweeping. Well i got a pair of headphones,there not md ones but it sure seemed to help out a lot thanks for the advice.I think i`m starting to learn what this C$ is telling me,one time it gave me a beep and i just kept walking and swinging i could tell by the sound it was junk.But i got a ? for ya,the phones i got don`t have a volume control on them and i ran the volume on the md at 5 would that be about right?Here`s a pic of the clad and ring we found today.here is a link to the headphones im using http://www.akg.com/site/products/powerslave,id,328,pid,328,nodeid,2,_language,EN,view,prop.html

Looks like you are starting to pick it up. One thing about the CS is the way it will lock onto the round stuff. Once you get more comfortable with it, turn off the notches and start looking for repeatable signals and among those, the ones that lock on well. You'll be pleasantly suprised at what is hiding in the tab and zinc range.
