I have asked this question on other forums about other detectors and so for I like the T2 but here goes so if any of you read this before forgive me, I am looking for a detector that I can hunt relics (mostly), beach (4 weeks a year) and some prospecting (some), I read about the GTP 1350 and it was what got me interested in Garrett's, I also read about the GTI's and they sound good, But what I need is someone that has used these detectors for these 3 type's of hunting that I want to do, and yep I want to hunt wet sand also... any responses will be appreciated!!

Get a Tesoro Tiger Shark.

It works great in mineralization, it loves match-size gold, can be manually ground-balanced and has a discriminate mode for coins. I think it is the only machine available designed as a gold hunting machine with a discriminate mode to hunt for coins.

i have used the 1350 for a year now and can vouch for it's relic and coin finding ability. i haven't had it on the beach or nugget shooting yet. i think for the money the 1350 would be hard to beat.

Another detector that is configured like the Scorpion is the Lobo, also from Tesoro.

Yah.... I have a Tiger Shark and its a good tector. Picks up fine gold and deep targets in water. I use it just in the water because of the weight of the unit. I find it heavy land hunting.
