Instant mash is a no no.Home made mash with onions covered in thick gravy with some proper sausages from the butchers.......yummy.Powdered milk is rubbish but some fruit cake is good, but it can't be to dry.

Admittedly I love good quality fruitcake but not this stuff seen in your discount grocery store during the holidays. Mashed potatoes? Absolutely, as long as it's mashed potatoes freshly made from boiled red potatoes w/real butter. While powered milk is far better for you than pasteurized milk products, which isn't really milk any longer, you're far better off omitting all or most dairy products from your diet. If you base your well being on the government food pyramid, you're in deep trouble for a whole host of reasons - not the least of which is wheat glutton. But then the government is in bed with Monsanto, so what can one expect? The same guys who redesigned what a God called good - made agent orange for Vietnam Nam.

My wife's fruitcake is wonderful, moist and packed with fruit. She makes them at Christmas time always, and at other times too. She will be starting on them soon. She makes one each for our friends as well as for us. Expensive to make, but truly very nice.

Powdered milk is good in my view and mashed potatoes are great. I don't know about "instant potatoes", maybe they exist here but we have never used them.

no, no and NO!!!!!

CHUCK.

Thanks for reminding us CJM,

That many are in far worse situations than ourselves.
God bless them.
