I like liver, wife hates it. Chicken and calf's liver smothered in onions, yummy.....Don't eat it much anymore but manage to grab a liverwurst sandwich at the deli once a year.

I can eat it although it's not my fav. I do, however, try to eat it once a month. Nothing else can touch the amount of iron and b12 provided in each serving.

Well, not so strange, as like liver with onions and fried chicken livers and gizzards but dislike Liverwurst very much! Yuck! Ma

NAY, NAY, NAAAYYYYY!!!! Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl! LOL! I used to have to eat it in the Army and they would BROIL it. Mmmmm. The gray meat. No amount of hot sauce, pepper and salt could kill that taste.

My dad use to cook liver in the oven for our dog. I never was a huge fan but give me a liverwurst sandwich any day! I must sneak liverwurst on next week's grocery list!

When I get a liverwurst sandwich, it's with onions, tomato, lettuce and extra mayo. I also like it on plain toast for breakfast. What do y'all put on your LW sandwich??
