Found this Silver Thimble on private property next to the Chickamauga Battle Field a while back.The only one I have ever found that was Silver.It was mashed flat and I straightened it out.I think it turned out OK.You don't see that many.Barry.
 
Thats a beaut!!! I have found 2 and neither was silver. Great job on fixing it back up...d2
 
Hey nice find. i too live near chickamauga. i may have found some relics on lookout mnt, but im a rookie and dont know what i found. once again very nice
