of my AT Pro finds, but I've just had too many other chores. Finally got around to downloading my camera today so I figure I had better get you guys some pics of my last couple of hunts loot. So first off, here's some rings from a water hunt 2 weeks ago. Managed to scoop a stainless steel spinner ring, a silver toe ring and a copper junk ring along with the usual suspects. No gold...ratz!!

Here's my rig next to the water as I took a break. Thank goodness the boulders don't go too far out!!

The next one is the loot I snagged on a hunt with my old buddies Strobey and Two Scoops, working some exposed lakebed. The ATP sure likes those fishing lures, most all of therm are the same kind, weird!!
Most of these finds were WAY down there, required several scoops to get down to them!!

And here's from yesterday, again working some exposed lakebed.
Here's the total take!!

Gold has finally made an appearance for me again!!

Also dug up this Gerber knife with stag horn handle!! Funny thing too, I dug the sheath up about 200' up the beach from it!!

And here's all the rings cleaned and polished. The tall ring in the back is silver, not sure why it looks like gold.

The two gold rings weigh in at a whopping 1.8 grams...together!! And the 14k mangled earring is .01 grams (thank goodness for the Propointer!!). Not a whole heck of a lot of gold...but it's gold!! In fact, I think the Gerber knife is worth more than the gold, but not near as pretty!!
For those of you who have an interest in VDI's both rings came in at 43-44, nice and solid. The tiny earring hit about a 38-39.
The mangled silver ring was just a faint signal in the 80's but solid amongst a lot of iron bloops. It was DEEP down and took me a lot of scooping to get it from the clay that was under the sand. And I spent a good 6-7 hours getting it round again and shiny. Lotsa Dremel time!! I'm guessing it has been down there since the 60's-70's.
I'll try not to get behind again!!!
