Beach Hunting Season (here in California) is about over now. We like to switch to the parks in the fall. My X-70 is gathering dust while you are R & D'g my smaller coil! I hope you announce something sooner, rather than Later! Guess I'll have to use my Sun Ray 5" coil with my Patriot meter until you release it. Whata ya say, huh?
This is the email I am sending to Las Vegas today!

I began field testing the X-50 last November, followed closely by the X-30. The X-70 didn't come out until early this year. Since then, Minelab has introduced several new coils. Granted, none of them smaller than the stock 9-inch. But, if you bought your Edge when they first came out, you would have waited over a year for that 5-inch coil you mentioned. Coinstrike owners waited over 4 years to get a smaller coil. And from what I have heard, both new coils were worth the wait. If and when Minelab introduces a smaller X-Terra coil, those who "hung in there" will be the ones with smiles on our faces and coins in our pouches! Quite frankly, I would rather have end up with a quality product when it is ready to hunt, as opposed to an inferior product that was introduced prematurely. JMHO HH Randy

How about an estimate of when it might be ready. I'm not gonna sell my X-70, but, I would rather use it in the parks than my GT.
