There are no targets to find at all out there!
Nothin, Nada Zip, Zilch, Jack Squat.

On one part of the beach there's a mountain of sand where there use to be nothing but water, somethings got to give!!!

Has anybody else's beach gotten sanded in recently??

OUTATIME

AARRRRGGG!!!

I think the beaches here have been pretty much sanded in all winter. There were some cuts during the Fall and I found some good stuff but I haven't even been down there in three weeks or so. I'm going to hunt heavy this summer behind the crowds, something I've never done. Winter has always been my favorite time to hunt. Very unusual this year.

Hey OUTATIME, that's part of the game! Remember me, with 27 straight no gold hunts, only topped by 2 hunts over my previous dismal record of 25 straight hunts? Hang in there, things will change! Just try to enjoy the detecting, knowing that gold is in your future mate! I know you can do it, I've seen the loot to prove it! If you don't like the conditions, stay home, or change your venue. I have hunted more wetsand this year, than ever before, because the water finds were a little slower, than normal. I REALLY HATE WETSANDING! Hang in there bud!

I know what you mean Gulf Hunter. Not being in the water, just doesn't feel right. I have also spent a lot of time in the wet sand. I did manage to get a nice 9k wedding band. Keep swinging OUTATIME, better times are comming.

Don't need a bulldozer, just find somebody with a strong back and a weak mind...

i took my son to the beach last saturday,,,their are cabanas close to the beach, that are rented for the summer,,pretty old ones but constantly used,,,so,,being a windy day,we stayed inbetween them,,i used my old 6000 dipro white's . I saw that the wind made sand drifts 4 to 5 ft tall close to the buildings,,,,,the low area exposed alot of shells,,,we checked that area and found tons of flip tops but,,,we did get a hit,,my son did,,,,age 12,,,a 1945 S Mercury Dime..in visible condition,,,,,a rare one in that area.....it was his first,,,so,,,had it framed,,,,,so,,,,low lying shell exposed areas can produce. ,,,HH Tim
