They are now enforcing an old law that allows detecting only after applying for and receiving a $25 annual permit .... got kicked out of the water while detecting .... bummer.

PS: Lost more than $2 in the ship's casino ... don't even ask how much more .... :cry: :cry:
 
The U.S. Forest Service charges $25.00 for what they call a "users fee" just to detect the beach at our local lake. If you get caught without one, the fine is more than a 3rd offence DUI. "We the people" have let our government get completely out of hand!!!:ranting::csflag::ranting:
