I have the compadre up for trade on the classified but it seems no one interested in trading. So I took the compadre out of the box and hit the parks. Excellent nickle day and dimes also. The ring has no hallmark but it is nice. The erring is also different. I will be taking the compadre out again on Friday. Thanks for looking.....Z

Looks like it's working good for you, with a nice hunt like that, the Compadre is trying hard so you will hang on to it.

Hi zee. Glad you tried it out again. From what you told me with your pm, if you get tired digging trash, just turn that disc. knob up. You dont need to wear your self out for a bucket of junk. I do like that ring you have there. Take care my friend... KEN

hay that silver ring is a nice find

KennyD thanks... I am a coin hunter. I like to pick up as many coins as I can. I never count the total value of the coins. I am only interested in the number of coins. A hunt with 50 or more coins is the beginning of a good hunt. If jewelry and silver coins show up that is very good but I am out there coin hunting.

Hombre don't say that... I really like swinging the compadre because it is so light and I feel that I am getting many of the coins that are in the ground that are in my coin range. (1"-4") I do not want to dig holes 8" or more. For physical reasons. I am really a TID guy. I spend a lot of time in trashy areas. The compadre is just a little much in those areas. I run a tight coin program on my F70 and I do dig a lot of missed coins by others. I am not concerned about masking, depth and the other things, it seems most other hunters are concerned about. In fact I run the 6" coils instead of the 11" plus coils others seem to want. I like popping coins out with a screw driver and on to the next in a matter of seconds. I can't seem to get into that swing with the compadre. I am looking for a back up machine not another machine. Compadre is great but it doesn't fit my hunting style.

Ken ::: Nice to hear from you again. If you notice I dig a lot of pennies and some of my jewelry comes in at that range plus the dime range more jewelry. If you are not digging pennies you are missing nickles and a good many dimes that the pennies are blocking. I have had even quarters being blocked by pennies. I am letting out some of my secrets!!! Oh my, oh my. Please don't tell anyone!!!

Gunnar even though I am a coin shooter I do like when jewelry shows up. Some times some of the nicest stuff shows. But I have a big box full of not so nice stuff. In fact my grand kids don't want the stuff in the box anymore. They are too big or maybe too smart so gramps, can't pull the wool over their eyes anymore...

Thanks everyone. I had a good time and looking forward to Friday and hopping someone will want to trade.... Z
